Adware is a type of technology that you can install on other players' devices in order to gain money from them.
Once you have installed adware technology on the device, you start the adware and every few minutes money is deposited in your bank account.
Note that you can only install adware on devices that you control but do not own. So to use this technology you must first hack another player's device with a take control hack.
The adware device operation becomes available to players at rank 16.
Each adware technology has the following characteristics:- adware interval (how often does it deposit money in your account - called an adware checkpoint), adware amount (how much money does it deposit each checkpoint).
In addition to its useful function, adware technology comes with a drawback - a vulnerability, or a negative hack defence amount and so on. It is up to you to decide what is the best technology for you.
Every 10 checkpoints the device will mail you to give you a progress report. This mail contains the device ID of the device running adware. Therefore someone cracking this mail will discover the device and be able to attempt to hack it.
